Born in Philadelphia 1946 studied at PAFA and UPenn graduating from both in Fine Arts. He continued in the Philadelphia area focusing in his early days on Painting and then in the latter years to wood sculpture. He is recognized as a naive artist, one that looks form outside. In doing so he does not ascribe meaning to his out but allows it to speak out for itself.
